Anyone know if there's a difference between Diablo Blaze and Midnight (Yeah, I already know they come in different colors, I'm talking about quality).

Are you sure it is not the other way around?

Mitnight is a couple bucks cheaper.

It is probably because you had a better paint barrel match with midnight than blaze.

I was under the impression that Blaze and Midnight were the same size. I'd also heard that Diablo used to make a paint called Brand X, which was Crap, and that they changed the name to Midnight. Anyone know if that's true? I'd also heard that Midnight and Blaze were the same paint, except Midnight had a one-color shell.

I know diablo has a new type named imperial but it is $110 a case so lets move on

Ive used both and I think Blaze is a better overall paint than Midnight. I had less breaks with it in the barrel and more breaks on the targets.

I've used Diablo Rec Ball, which is Blaze seconds, and it worked fine. Now I want to get a case of Blaze, but then I saw Midnight, and it was a little cheaper ... But, I think i'll stick with Blaze.

Ive only put four things through my barrel. Big Ball for rec play. Midnight and Blaze. And a couple of m-80's (try it its fun). Out of Blaze and Diablo i cant really tell the difference. Just one thing... The Blazy was like a year and a half old and was still great, no breaks and straight as an arrow. Now i havent shot year old Midnight but currently blaze has my best regards

We use mostly midnight or brand x to practice with..then brand x went away and recs sport took its place..for the price in my opinion midnight is a good paint for rec or practice....blaze is a step up from midnight it should be, it costs more it is also good for practice.....neither of these two paints would be a good choice for tournament play......in my opinion

My brother-in-law bought 2 cases of Midnight becuase he found it on sale if you bought 2 or more cases. The stuff he got was crap, almost all the balls where dimpled, and about half of them looked like little footballs they were so out of round. After laying them out for a few days to dedimple them they still shot like crap becuase they were so lopsided.

That could be a function of how it was stored from the distributor. Not how it was made or sent from the manufactureer. Also if you find a deal thats to good to be true (like two cases really cheap) It probably is
