I was wondering folks. I just recently purchased a A-5. I haven't the chance to use it yet in the field. Anyway I went out and purchased a prefilled tank called something like source air or something close to that. It said i was to get 200 shots, more like 50. I was trying to test out the new Dye 14' stainless steel barrel I got for it. The first few shots were dead on. After that I was getting a little stray shots. Think that crap tank had something to do with it. Also you think I need a better barrel than the one listed. How do you think it will do on the field?

The amount of shots you get on a CO2 tank depends on the size.. You can pick up a 20oz for like.. $20 and get quite a few more shots. I'm not positive, but I'm guessing somewhere more around 1000.
As for the barrel. Just make sure the paint fits it well. If the paint is too big or too small, you'll probably have some problems.

The dye stainless is a sweat barrel. Just find paintball the fit it right. if they fall right threw it, there to small, if they take alot of ummf breath to push out the the barrel they are to big....get the point, lol. Yah, Get a 16-20 oz tank.....

Sorry about the confusion on the co2 tank. I have a 20oz just didn't have a fill station nearby to fill it. I purchased the one use only tank to test the accuracy of the barrel. I was hoping since it was a cheap knockoff it was the reason behind the stray shots. Don't get me wrong. in a 50 foot range I was hitting within 10 inches of each shot out of a group of ten shots.
Also does anyone know of any good paint for a Dye 14' stainless steel barrel?
