Hey, my friend just got all new internals and he is having horrible efficiency. I'm talking like only 400 shots out of a 20 oz. He got the ND bolt, ND valve, slik shot, rat hole hammer, and a ti pull pin. He is running at 290 fps about with 180 psi and dwell set. Thanks for any help

-Check for leaks
-Is the tank being filled all the way?
-Bad orings?
-Very high dwell setting
-Was everything installed properly?
Check wolvy's FAQ on filling co2 tanks, and also there may be some more advice or problems there. These are the only things i can think of, but i know i am not getting good air efficiency because my dwell is at 17, and the combo of my psi, fps is not right. I also run nitro, it may be different. It may just be a bad combo of everything, or just the valve, or something simple such as an oring or not being filled all the way. I highly doubt it is the internals, new designs does a very good job, and many people use them without problems

-Check for leaks
- We checked for leaks, none.
-Is the tank being filled all the way?
- Yes it was filled to 20 oz. two times that day
-Bad orings?
- He had just replaced his orings because some of them were in pretty bad shape
-Very high dwell setting
- His dwell is set pretty low (he has the old board)
-Was everything installed properly?
- Yeah I'm sure it is I was there when he installed everything and it looked good to me.
Thanks for the help.

id check the orings again, if the are new they may hoave been messed up when you gotthem or maybe were scraped with put on
hhmmmm.....
good internals
good pressure
good dwell (good pressure and good speed mean good dwell)
hhmmmm......
I can only think of four more things, and there only suggestions,
1. are you using a wierd ball size to barrel size combo?
2. are your internals clean and properly lubed inside the ram assembly?
3. have you tried it with compressed air or nitro?
4. is it possible that liquid CO2 is getting into the gun, or that it's being shot so fast that the pressure drops in the tank faster than the liquid CO2 can absorb heat from outside the tank to "gas off" and raise the pressure? It would seem as if the tank is empty, when really it just needs to warm up.

I have the same problem, I have an evil respirator and evil valve along with every upgrade out there. It can not be the o rings or ball size, do you have an LPR?

lube it.... make sure thats right, set it to 180..... then adjust dwell to shoot right..... was this with or without paint?

Nevermind guys we found the problem. The hammer cap jsut wasnt screwed in all the way and was quite loose. Thanks for the suggestions tho. If that doesnt fix it then i will try some of those.
