Once again, what would the best length and drop be for a home mad drop forward(I work in a hardware store and can get everything for free and I like to experiment with this type of stuff, so why the hell not?) Oh yeah, im thinking of using the dimensions of the pschyo ballistics model 98 drop forward. I use a 12 or 20 oz btw.

Also, do you think it would be possible to paint my steel braided hose and elbow matte black to match my gun and drop forward. I just think this would be an interesting touch to my gun.

It's homemade dude, the best length is whatever you want, that's the beauty of it. The hard part might be finding out what length is comfortable for you. Experiment, have someone else hold the tank against your shoulder to see what you think is the most comfortable if you have to. Hell if you're good, you might even make an adjustable one. Might take a little bit of thought, but it must be possible.
