what is a good paint match to a SS smart parts All American?
right now i'm using proballs, i dunno if i got a bad batch, but they're swerving all over the place.
i'm surprised i didn't find this already in a search, so if you're shooting darts w/ an All American, just let me know what kinda balls they are :wink2:

Well, how's the paintmatch with proball, tight loose?
I use Vortex Quake paintballs and they fly accurate as all hell! The only thing is they don't have a good fill but thats ok because they don't break in the barrel.

Conduct a blow test on the bigballs, it seems that they should work ok..

oh, you were using proballs........they shouldn't swerve that much, but try a blow test

>whats a blow test? just put a ball in the barrel and try to blow it out? how do i determine if it's a good fit?

i put a ball in and it fell through, i tried another one and i just needed to lightly blow on it to make it fall through. it was about 1/2 and half

Well when i first conducted a blow test a ball got stuck that was perfect bore..this was because i had the barrel sitting for a while in my case and it just had to much friction.i took the other barrel i had and put a dry, clean squeegee down it just to loosen the friction.....then you place the ball in there and it shoudlnt' fall through (otherwise it is too small of fit) and then you shoud lightly blow on it and it shoulda pop out.. if it takes too much effort or you cant get it out the pball is too big.
but make sure you put a clothe down the inside of the barrel, or the pball might get stuck and give you bad results

Big Ball works VERY well, but the best in my experience with smart parts barrels are marbs

Rps marbs fit mine best. Imo they are probably the nicest paint you can get. Compare one next to a proball and you will see the difference. No seams on the ball and perfectly round.

Bigball is ok..better than proball IMO. For 35 dollar I would get some and use it, but not for a tounrmanet or anything. Lots of bounces, but its not too bad.

Vortex Armageddon paintballs work excellent, ive only used them once though, and I noticed that they were to small and rolled out of the barrel, but they were DARTS, seriously, they worked so good

Get DIABLO INFERNO Paintballs they dont break in your barrel they don't break easily when shooting through brush, they are the most accurate paintballs I have ever used and the fill is very heavy and visible. They are even BETTER than RPS MARBALLIZER. The ONLY bad thing about them is they are expensive but I wont play at a field unless they have DIABLO INFERNO paint or they let me take my own paint. Buy a case or two at Drop Zone Paintball I buy all my paint at there stores in Kansas but you can also ORDER ONLINE at http://www.dropzonepaintball.com/html/paintballs1.html
I have been in alot of Paint Ball forums and everybody says marballizers are the best well they probably haven't tryed DIABLO INFERNO once you try it you wont go back to what you used to use or switch to some other brand DIABLO brand have the best.

Um yeah, sure, it only works sometimes cause the sizes differ by a ton, so you will break diablos 1/3 of the time, or it might be my bad desision with bore size choosing and freak systems, But i think he is advertising, which is making me lose interest in diablo ballz, im buying them from action village...

I got a case of inferno today cuz my local shop had em on sale for $50. They seem nice and pretty consistant size wise. I shot 1 in my back yard and they are dam good accuasy wise. The fill is THICK there is no way people will wipe this stuff.

i shot off the rest of the proballs today, tomorrow i'm gunna use marbs because they have a special on them at the field,, i'll tell you how they work out. i can't see bigballs doing so well, they are real small bore and the AA is mid. BTW for some reason the proballs were shooting a bit better today, the shell could be a bit thicker, they have a real hard time shooting through broken paint, but i don't think they'd be that bad if you're on a budget, about 1/2 the day they were shooting fairly straight, the rest they were going all rollercoaster on me (i checked for breaks every time they went squirly, and there was none)

If you get a chance get the blue shell with the blue fill or the blue shell with pink fill those are the best colors in my opinion for DIABLO INFERNO

I dont know what it is but they have two different kinds of shells, white/red and blue/green. The blues kick ***, but the w/r are WAY too hard and bounce like crazy.

I just got back from our game, the Inferno were not as accurate but thats cuz the paint to barrel mach was not as good as PMI or my slam ball when I get a boomer or freak I'll try them again and see if thats better.

i used marbalizers yesterday it seemed like they were a little too large, the accuracy was a little better than the proballs (too small) however i had almost 6 ball breaks IN THE BARREL (they seem to be M-L), no doubt due to bad size match. so the quest for perfect paint continues.
some people have said PMI premium, is that worth trying?

Yes thats what I use and they work great. Also my slamball and eltigre work well. The PMI is nice and cheap to:D :D :D But I thought Marbs were small bore oh well.
