Do all drop fowards work with the horizontal max flo? Cause i see that ND has a "max flo" drop foward so i was wondering if it has its own system like the spyders do with the retarded screws.

screw systems are going to be the normal ones, its basically just you need a dropforward that can handle the weight and that gives enough room to screw in a tank. I, too, am currently looking for a drop for my horizontal maxy. I have found the max-flo drops to be cheaper in many cases, and im thinking they would be your best bet (unless your looking for looks) because they are field tested to handle the weight of the maxflo

Oh! So technically any drop works... just it might not be able to handle the weight.... ic.... yea the screw in system thing was stupid my tank was too big to fit so then i had to attach a on/off valve on it in order to fit... but thanks anyways

With a horizontal maxxy.. you really should go without a drop at all (especially if you play front). You can get soooo much tighter and it is really a better feel. I'm not alone on this. Read up about it on IOG tons of ppl say this.

So.. No drop.

Wow... most people hate the normal max flo.... but i personally see no point in spending $50-100 more just for the same regulator so yea no drop? I can't really get tight with a on/off valve and a 68/4500 tank... can u?

By the way i'm kinda new at this site... how do u get those icons? and the things and banners at the bottom of the msgs u guys post?>?>?

well i say, drop, cause you can get tighter(wait what were people saying to not go drop for) cuase your gun wont be 3 1/2 feet long... but thats just me...

yeah whoever said you can get tighter without a drop is a little on the clueless side, unless you meant height wise, but i would just get a very forward without much drop forward (a forward drop? heh). Plus i have the older style maxxy that actually sits back, so it makes my gun even longer, so i personally definitely need a drop, with the new maxxy's, as long as you get a 45ci tank then its not really a problem.

Get a rail drop. They drop it enough down just to clear the air fill on HPA tanks and u can move it forward or back, looks nice, no fancy design like some drops tho. I use a horizontal maxy with on off valve adaptor and my HPA tank. Its really long. Right now im using my RAS LX drop (smart parts) and its not bad, just hard to get the screws to stay in.

The whole point of not getting a drop would be the fact that a (back) player would like more stability, on the run (bunkering, or posting ur gun up on ur arm). If u look closely at the pro's, many (not all) do not have drops. use drops in your own comfort.
Personally - i dont use one

Yea in a way he is right... but i am still going for the drop cause i am a front player... and this fat tank gets in the way when i'm in tight bunkers.

It's a mount that allows you to do that.

how much does it cost?

as i recall.... you just need a drop with a dove tail and it will fit fine. BTW is that a medusa frame ??

It's a pre production Benchmark Drop. It'll probaly retail for aroung $35. It really is the best setup. It inverts the M/F/ manifold getting the Reg out of the dirt, offers Drop and foward while actually adding LESS height to the whole setup.

Jay.

You'd have to Email Proteam Products and ask "Steve" what the status is on it.

Not a Medusa.

Is there a difference between the old max flos and the new max flos? Cause a couple of my friends told me that the old ones had like a different setup or some sort... but i don't see any, its just the gange got smaller thats all.

yeah, we all know what you were really thinking about spyders ;) no need to cover up :P But no, they take a standard inline hole screws.

Edit: yeah i was gonna say.... jesus, they did a **** job on making a new frame, that looks stock! but then... IT IS stock, except it has those diamond grips... decieving!
