Me and a few friends are planning on playing in my backyard (17 acres) during the middle of the night. Besides putting glow sticks on the flags does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it fun?

Try dont. Ive done it and unless youve got a good group of guys dont do it, **** gets lost and peopel freak out of course thats half the fun. And dont use a flashlight it gives you away.

We played a few night games. Heres what we did.
Game 1. Nothing special just played normal w/o lights or glow sticks.
Game 2.Each player had to have a small light atached to there barrel, you can't turn em off or cover them olny point them at the ground.
Game 3.Get 2 different color light sticks (one for each player) one teames one color and the other is the other color, atach the same color of your teams stick to the flag. Players are not aloud to cover light stick unless they are laying onit(the sticks are used as arm bandss on the players.

if you want to get freaked out....

take a third of your guys and have them go hide. then the other two thirds has to hunt them down with lights on.

So the few can see you easily, and you have to work reallys hard and together to pin point the small group of guys.

Do the others have guns? That sounds like fun I'll try that next week end.

One girl (kinda on the upperclass side; good though) had an NVG scope. That thing was rockin'! Anyway, yeah, let your eyes adapt. Close them for about five minutes nad when you open them, they are well adapted to the night. Use your ears, look for dark and light contrasts, not actualy colors. Another thing, every couple minutes, if moving in a group of four, porcipine (spelling?) and have everyone face a different direction and crouhc down and listen in. Glow sticks will destroy your night vision, so don't use them. Laser sights can be nice although you have to use them in a burst mode, lighting up another player quickly and then turning it off.

you know those garden creatures that you buy from walmart. when you walk by them they start making noise. they make great motion sensors at only 5 bucks a pop. buy 8 or so and set them at strategic locations. works everytime.

if your gonna use a flashlight use a small one with a red film overit so it doesnt destroy your night vision. when its dark you actually dont see color, you see shades of gray, the worldis black and white, pick up on movement, and one of the most important things DONT LOOK AT WHAT YOU WANNA SEE! hmm no reason to put it in caps but what the hey? its important though, the receptors that see black and white arent too focused areound the middle of your eye and youll have a big ol black spot right where you look. you have to see what they do from the corner of your eyes, and movement, remember movement will give away locations faster than anything else.

If yall are really looking for a thrill, play an all night game... 2 tents on opposite sides of the land. Its incredible scary and it makes you get a real feeling of fighting.....You adreneline gets rushing. I played an all nighter like this once, some people sleep(with their masks on) while others watch, its the most fun ive ever had, we rushed the enemy tent at 3am....it was a massacre

Played my first night game yesterday. We had glow sticks (different colors for teams) on our hoppers and the field and refs were marked with red glow sticks. The barrels on the speedball field we used had luminescent paint on them and it was pretty cool. All you could see was bobbing glow sticks and glow paint flying through the air. I would do it again.

Well I played a night game sunday night and it was the piznoop..... My friend read a post on this forum about somone jumping int heir truck and getting people onhis team to get in back and shoot.... which is exactly what he did....... it was hella cool though cause his bright white brand new tacoma stood out like a sore thumb, and we got as close as possible and shot the heck out of both the peeps in the back and the truck itself.... there were like a million dents and he was super pissed........... But yeah that game lasted like 4 hours and it was soooo cool. Like at one point I got split up from my group and it was on a huge ranch (20 acres) and I heard sticks breaking like 20 yards in front of me but that was a little past these trees so I couldn't see anyone. So I pulled a good old Fiendish nade tactic and dropped to the ground and threw two nades about ten feet apart form each toehr in the area at which I heard the twigs breaking and then when they hit I heard like 7 guys go "AW CRAP!!!!!!" It was so sweet. I hate to show off or brag but I am the nade-miester!I pulled the same move last week...... I think I made a post about it..........
