MP5 clip
Yes, I want to add a MP5 clip on my A-5. I know I can buy one from
www.extremesportsandhobbies.com but the kit they have is take place where the front grip is. I want to keep the front grip no matter what. And I can't buy a real MP5 clip because I live in CA. So I am thinking to buy a airsoft MP5 clip from local store, play around with it, try to put it on. Do you think this a good idea? Did someone done this before? If you have some tips, please let me know.
Thanks.

Well arson, as a loyal member of the Waffen-SS it is your duty to the fatherland to defeat the godless communists in CA, much as your commrades had in Russia, during the war.

so your going to put it in the tombstone adapter area? it shouldnt be that hard... a person over at the tippmann forums did it... there was instructions and pics too.

Yes, I already asked Jefangel. I don’t have a regulator like he does. So the instruction on his web site couldn’t be follow.

The person on Tippmann forums used a real MP5 clip, which I can't put my hands on.

Okay, guys. I just think of something.
And I drew a diagram for it. Take a look.
I think that will work. What do you think?

The Kampfer

I really want to keep the front grip, but I changed my mind because doesn't seen like there is enough space for both of them.

You can always do something like this (http://members.cox.net/suburbs1/images/A5pic1.jpg) (put the gas line and stuff in the clip)

Thread with it at Tippmann Forums: here (http://tippmann.com/webwiz634/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=2&TopicID=44612&PagePosition=3)

Same idea, different person's A5, smaller pic:

It's done. Took me & my dad 1.5 hours. He did most of the work. I love you, dad. I will post the picture soon.

That's pretty cool.

I might even think it looks better than the ones that have the front grip.

How's it feel?

That looks great. Are you considering the purchase of a stock and a sling to complete the look?

I've actually been putting off the addition of a clip to my Tipmman 98C, as I've got the whole M4 look going on. Maybe I'll get to that this week.

Yes, I'm thinking about to get a stock, even I will never useit, just for look. So I need to pick one that it won't be in my way.
So, the sliding stock on www.extremesportsandhobbies.com will be a good chioce. But it's $99+$6 shipping and it's out of stock.

TerminatorVenom

thats pretty nice.

if i were you i would get one of those stocks that folds up along side the gun that way it looks good and can get out of your way when you need it to. i forget what they're called but a little bit of searching and you should be able to find them relitivly (i know i ca't spell) easy

PartySquirrel

yea a folding stock would be pretty good and you can find nice ones for alot cheaper than 100 bucks, i think ive seen some going for 30ish, check paintballgear.com and countypaintball.com they probably have what your looking for

I want to get an A-5 like that just for a scenario gun. Maybe when I have more money.

If he's going to get a stock, he should get this:

http://www.extremesportsandhobbies.com/a5mp5slidingstock.html

Or a solid stock, such as Pro Team's A5 scenario stock. The link you posted doesn't accurately represent the MP5s I've seen.

That's the one I like. But it won't fit a A-5 w/RT.

Then maybe you ought to think about Pro Teams Scenario A5 stock, which is also true to the MP5 look.

I had the CAR stock on my 98 Sniper before, I love its look, but it really gets in my way. I can not aim good/fast with that on my gun. I think I will stick to the way it it right now, until I find something I like.

You just cut a little off of the sliding part to fit around the banjo fitting and you're good to go. Anyone here who owns an A5 go to the a5ownersgroup.com, great forums.
