why the company or the price

welll it seems to me that many people buy a barrel because of its price or the company which i think is very dumb i have used almost every barrel made and now i use a boa (60) because i think that is the best and i also love th jj (50) ceramic the boomy (110) is overrated alot the freak (200) is useless if your field has the paint that matches the barrel so why do people buy these barrel when barrels half or a third the price are better becaus eof the name or the price is higher so it must be bette ri just dont understand

First of all.. the freak is meant for tournament players. Not for the average Joe that plays the same field every single time they play. Tournament players go all over the countries (Canada, and USA) as well as internationally. Do you think every paint matches every barrel?

The freak set is so much because of the machining that is required to get the different bore sizes for the inserts. You may not think so, but these things can cost a tidy sum. Then you have to take the other processess into consideration. Is it two peice or one peice? What material was used? etc etc...

People buy freaks because they are dead accurate. I'm sure some people DO buy them because they have a nice shiny Smart Parts logo on them... but that is admittedly dumb. Its all about matching paint size. Hey if you go to a field that has perfect paint match to YOUR barrel, then all the power to ya. But not everyone's barrel is the same bore size. Look at the variations of boomy sizes.

ya i guese the freak was a bad choice but its still dam expensive
