how easy is it to use a 20oz co2 tank as a stock with a drop forward compared to without a drop forward? Especially with a lapco df-
with a psycho ballistics df-

the drop foward will only help if your gun is off balanced. if it is then a 20 will work. you should get a remote cause a 20 is kinda heavy aint it?

20 oz isn't much heavier than a Nitro tank.... people hang 114 ci tanks off their gun all day long and don't have a problem with it...

I need a drop forward because my gun is off balance. The weight isnt really a problem for me and a 20oz aluminum tank isnt that heavy. I just need to know if the tank would still stick out enough to use it as a stock, especially on a lapco and a psycho ballistics df.(would it be to low, to close, or at a bad angle to shoulder it). also to those with drop forwards, how do you hold your gun when you shoot and how steady is it?

I don't think it would work well as a stock if you got a drop forward, it would probably be kinda akward. You could try a drop stock, you'd probably need an angled drop stock with a 20oz tank though.

With the pb drop forward its not feasable to use your 20 ounce tank as a stock. I have a pb on my M98 and a 20oz tank sticks out about 3 to 5 inches behind the gun (at work right now so can't check) I love the way the gun feels now, but there is no way you can use the tank for a stock now The Pb drops the tank forward 7.75 inches and 1.5 inches down i believe. And you can run a standard ASA on it with a 20 ounce tank, It will fit, but if you have a beveled ASA already it will work too.

Ge the drop forward i hagve, u gcan get it for everyg gun at paintballpx.com. It only alowx for 3 inches of my twenty ouce tank to stick out, and its great for shouldering the gun, Its easier to aim, and feels more balanced.

7 inches is a REALLY long drop..my drop forward goes up about 4 inches, and it still allows me to use my tank as a stock while giving my gun a very balacned feel...it's the Tuck Tite Drop forward.

Its good to have a drop forward, and u still can use it as a stock. Id get one,, either tlplus or mionre. If u paly spedabl though, id get the one i have, becaue it allows u to put the entire guin right next to your head, with erfect aiming. y drop stops right under my reg, and its real sweet to be able to shoulde rthe un like that. Im geting a pick son, so then u can see what i mean.
