Hey, I just own a used Spyder Compact 2000.
Any tips there to maintain and effectively win using this marker?

this url should help with the first part and as far as the second part it your marker is only a tool. If you wanna win, Practice, practice, practice. and always make sure you buy balls that are fresh and free from dimples and a lot of oily crap in the bag or jug.
Make sure you match your paintballs to the barrel. I find team colors and bigball are 2 of the best balls if they are not available in your area. take your barrel with you and put a ball in the recieving end and the ball should not roll out. you should have to blow it out (but not with everything you have got, just a quick blow.
hope this helps and good luck!!!!!
she's a fairly good Marker and if well maintained should never fail you.

Nother one. http://www.spyder-faq-center.com/ it sometimes doesn't work.
If you have any questions bout Spyders, go to http://www.pbnation.com , the people here aren't very smart:P
Remember to maintain your gun. Buy some pball oil, DO NOT get oil not made of paintball. KC trouble free (think that's the name) is supposedly very good, try to find some. Oil your bolt and put a few drops in the bottomline, screw the co2 tank back on and dry fire your gun to cycle the oil through. Take off the barrel while shooting.
If it sounded weird, jus ask me on msn

you seem to be on here a lot, yet you criticize the forum and it's members on a regular basis. if you don't like it and you think we are not very smart why are you always on here.
Drop your purse, Grab a helmet and get into the Game!!!!
Or go hang out at Pbcanada where insults seem to be the norm...

Bah, I admit I over exaggerated. It's just that too many people turn threads about one thing into conversations about another .I like the regional & off topic forums, that's bout it. If I had a question about a gun, I wouldn't post it here though, I'd take it to PBN. Most of the members there seem to have more experience than the members here. And there's barely any tourney players here compared to pbc and pbn.

i agree but this gentleman asked a Question regarding his Compact 2000, how many tourney players do you think would have one let alone answer a newbie question?
