NICE.......If you need some help I'm here, but I need some better info I'm going to help. What exactly is wrong with your marker. The metal rod comment is pretty unclear. You are probably talking about the dowel pin that holds the trigger in place. All you need to do push it back in to place and tighten your set screws. The tray screw needs to be tightened from the inside the battery tray. It would also help if you read your owners anual. Anymore questions just ask.

its kinda weird the day b4 i go to the field i adjust everything and its great, and the next day its way off, and i cant get it rite like one shot would be over 270fps and the next would be 130fps, and the reg jumps from 225 to 110 is it all just adjusting problems?

if u are thinkin of getting a cocker because you are having trouble with a BKO that is a bad decision. I own both. The cocker is high maintainence when compared to a BKO. I fyou upgrade a BKO al you do is adjust the HPR and LPR. I Fyou yupgrade a cokcer then you have HPR( if no tstock), front reg, 3way trigger lenght, and sear/lug to mess with.
I am not saying a cocker is a bad gun. It is personal preference. I rather go with a mini-matrix

Very well put and and a good pointto consider. Ladies and gents, I have a BKO and so does a friend on my team. We both have had two different approaches to our markers. I got mine, opened the box. looked at the marker, and then grabbed the manual to read it, and got online to take in all the info I could, and then I got the marker out of the box. I learned the marker and then began to work with the marker. My friend opened the box, put in a battery, and put on the tank. On average, I assemble my marker on a day of play, and then work on his. See the connection yet. I don't mean to insult here, but the BKO's argreat markers. Just get to know your marker first and don't come back with "I do know it, its just crap" when we are guessing allen wrench sizes and (not in this post) refering to that "hose thing next to the metal piece." Has my BKO been trouble free. No it hasn't, and what I couldn't find the answer for in the manual I looked on line, didn't find a consistant answer there, the downfall of the forum, so I called ICD, talked I think Grege if I remember correctly, and was recieving the needed replacement part in the mail 3 days later (good time from Idaho to KY) and then when recieved, I still had a question on the install, so I called again and they walked me through it, took a whole whopping 7 minutes and less than $1 in phone charges. That's less than the gas to get to the local pro shop and considerably more effective than whining.

I had the same problem. I went to the local store and teh guy told me how to fix it. Well my valve screw cam e loose and i had to pu tteh alve back i place. When people say taht teh BKO is hard to take apart I think they mean becareful because it was really wasy, you just have to take it apart slowly and remember which goes to wat. I used teflon on the tray scew and there wasn' tany spacing ever since.
B4 you fix taht spacing on teh tray buy a valve because you are gonna take yur marker apart anyway you might as well do it one and save yourself some time.
thanks for the compliments SABO.

first of 9 times out of 10 problems with the bko will be user error, the other 1 out of 10 will be easily and gladly fixed by ICD. Theres no reason to let some kid who dosent know crap about his marker deter you from buying one.

:) :) :)
Now now....... no need to get insulting :)
I agree. Most problems seem to relate to user error, or user inexperience, or user carelessness.
I find that if one gets to know the BKO and takes time and care in servicing it properly, it's a great marker.

I dident mean to insult anyone, it's just there are so many problem threads that can be solved easily by reading the faq/ manuel and being familier with your marker
And If that dosent work then thats what the forums are for ;)

my friend owns one, and it has given him nothing but good times. He hasnt had any problems with it other than just maybe he did something wrong. I think the main problem with BKOs is that they attract a very "low end" crowd that is used to tippmanns and spyders, and really do not know how to maintain guns at all. If I had to bet on it, I would think that is your problem. As far as getting a cocker instead, you will be hurting even more...cockers are great, but they are hard to maintain compared to a BKO. The only maintainance a BKO requires is making sure the HPR and LPR are clean, keeping the o-ring detents clean, cleaning out the barrel and whole upper tube. An occasional relubing of the reg plunger cant hurt either...some people just dont know how to take care of things...:finger:
