I put a new motor in my old 9 volt today. It spins faster than the 12 volt I have and feeds great :)

what kind of 9vt? pre-BE(viewloader 2000) or is it new (made by brass eagle)

'cuz i've gotta get my propeller to spin faster, the reaction time is great, but it just can't keep up.

Pre-BE. Reaction time = great. Feeds very fast. Faster than 12volt for sure.

that's very true, the reaction time is great but when compared to a BE 12vt the blade spins much slower, so when firing over 10 balls it starts to suffer. is there anyway i could get longer blades or 4 of them? because i don't wanna lose the start up timeto get a faster longterm rof

Personally, I made a 6 blade for my revvy..it spins great and feeds really fast. Its way faster than a 12v but not even close to the HALO.

would you mind telling me how you did that?

Well I dunno which one you're talking about so I'll explain both :D

For the 6 paddles, I basically took a block of plastic I found from some shelve or something I built before. I just carved it and smoothed it then coated it with rainX.

For the motor, I just used one of those mini hand held fan motors. I had to mod the housing in the Revvy because the motor was too big..I also had to superglue it so it would stay. :( But it works great :)

alright thanks, i'll try both, i dunno if i'm got any of those little fans anywhere though

You know I've had some people jokingly tell me to try a computer fan..and now I'm thinking of trying it.

Remember when you do the motor mod, be sure you have a soldering iron/gun because you're going to be disconnecting the wires.

Well here's an update:

My friend stole my super hopper and tried it with his spyder with boo-yaah. He said the hopper didn't misfeed at all with the boo-yaah on full auto.

Hopefully this weekend we can try it on their angels, cockers and impulses (damn spoiled people)

What gun do you use, Ethon?

Currently I'm shooting a Spyder TL but I should have an Impulse soon

I know someone who is desperately trying to sell his Impulse turbo for pretty cheap. I also know someone who is selling their shocker tubro in green, with a s/p foregrip for $500.

Ahhh I won't have the money for another two weeks :(

500 is a wee bit out of my price range though

Well, I think it's worth it. An Impulse in black is $400. An Impulse color is $450. For another 50 you can get a gun that is a good amount better than it, in many ways. Plus it is a colored shocker, so it's worth it even more. AND it has a turbo board which is worth another $100. I think it is worth it, but I see what you mean. This deal is very persuading to give in another $50. I was going to buy it, but I found an even better deal... =)
