All I know is that I use the dead man walking tactic at least once when I play paintball. How to do this is easy. Sneak around the tapeline, and then all of a sudden, stand up and start walking. Don't raise your hands or fire/yell anything, just walk along the tapeline. Take the tape all the way around to the back of your opponents, then quietly go up to each one of them and make them surrender quietly. My friend and I use it all the time, and I've never been hit once. It works if you know all the things not to do, like walking next to a player that is out. That's illegal. If you do it right, you should see some of the looks on their faces when you are right next to them, talking to them, and then say surrender. It is a classic.

the dmw makes everyone paranoid for the day so they shoot anything that moves. And that doesnt tactic doesnt work on me. i ask anyone that walks(especially if they dont have a barrel plug in) if they are out and if they don't say anything i start shooting.

Well, it works for me, but I don't use it on everybody. you have to pick your spots, and then it works great. I make sure that when I'm out, everyone knows I'm out, and I don't get lit up. I've had it done to me, too. It's just a mental relapse that happens every so often, and if you are in a firefight, you wouldn't think about someone walking right up to you.

if anybody pulled that on me, and got me, i probably would light them up everytime they walked to the dead box.
