I'm having trouble deciding whether to get a Dye Ul... or an SP AA. which one is more accurate(14 in.)? If the dye Ul..., where's the cheapest place to get one?

I think they both have the same accuracy... Get the cheapest one...

I would personally go with the UL. It is a great barrel, and best of all, it is made by DYE (I'm not saying Smart Parts is bad). You can get them cheapest off of eBay.

2k2 All american is a piece of junk, dont waste your money on it, you'll regret it.

Ultralite, its just better. You wont run the risk of stripping threads that connect in the front of the back of the barrel like you will on the AA (the front threads of the AA are increadibly weak). With an Ultralite you can can even choose the bore size of the barrel you want from sites like www.shootpaint.com or get a whole new back at www.4freeflow.com.

There's much more I could say on this, but I'm tired, so my basic point is Ultralite > All American.

I shot a 2k2 AA for a couble of months, it was one of the best barels I have ever used, extremely accurate, and I never had any problems with the threads stripping.

The Dye UL is a better barrel. It has a lower sound signature, is more efficient, and shoots just as well or better than any SP barrel!

A couple months... thats not a long time to give something a decent amount of wear. I'm not saying you'll get probs right away, just over time.

I also bought it used.... But whatever, this is the only time I have heard of any problems from the 2k2 AA, so I am still a strong supporter. The Dye ultralight is great too, I would just get the cheapest because I dont think you will notice any difference in peformance.

i would get the AA. ive had one for a while now and ive hadnt had a problem with the threads. i mean, y would u screw in and out all the time. unless u wanted to use a dif front every time u shot. and u can get new backs and freak fronts. i think its the perfect deal.
