walky talkies in tournies?

hey I was just wondering if my team is allowed to use walky talkies in tournies cause my friend has enough for everyone on the team and we know where to get the earpiece w/ the michrophone on it for really cheap so if it's allowed then we definitely want to make this an option. any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Sorry, they won't let you. Plus they're afraid you'll plugg into the refs radios.

Nope, not likely. The fields are so small, why dont you just yell?

In the big games I play in (3000 people) we used walkie talkies because we needed contact with people over a mile away. The refs switched channels/codes every hour, so you couldnt figure out where they were talking, and reams switched channels/codes every two hours, so the other team couldnt plug in.

Works well in big game, however, on a football size field, theres really no use for them.

hmmmmmm thats an interesting question. but i think it would be no. mabey in a rec game or big game. but not a tourny. hey shouldnt it be in tournt talk? ?????

I use a scanner at home that i programmed into all the cordless phone frequencies and I have a great time at night listening to all my neighbors talking on the phone **tching about there friends. it is so much fun i know every drug dealer for a mile from me and whos wife is cheating...

Its against the offical NPPL rules to use radios (walkie-talkies)
