I was just surfing the net and I found out that bushmaster and tippmann and like five other companies/ marker types are named after real guns.....I'm guessing that tippmann makes both guns and markers because the name is spelled exactly the same but yeah dude I didn't know about that before........

The bushmaster refers to the snake, not the mounted gun, and i do think tippmann made guns at some point.

Bushmasters are a company that makes AR-15s. As well as a snake...
Tippmann..what gun? Carbine is the only name that I know of could refer to a real gun. Carbine is a very old word, the first "carbine" was made back in the early 1800's

Stopped making what in Nam? Carbine is the name for a short, light rifle, and Bushmaster still makes AR-15s.

Nail on the head on both counts !
The "Bushmaster" is also a light artillery piece made by the South African govt. since the early 70's. (If my memory is right its in the 30-40 mm range)
