When I shot my 98c with an R/T ill hear bang and then ill hear a short hsss. I have it set so it will shot at its slowest BPS and it will for a second and then all of a sudden it will go like it was turned up real high. Whats the problem or is there any? I need a reply ASAP thanks.

Check the sear...it should be placed up when you install the rt. I think thats if you just got the rt.
IF not.....
U can open it up and reinstal the rt...that may work make sure you oil the gun also and check all the seals and o-rings. If that doesnt work..it could just be a faulty tigger, or springs..

I just put a new sear spring in. I called tippmann they said to send it in but Id rather not. Would making a R/T powertube out of a Regular powertube be the problem?

The only reson the powertubes are different is because of the hole in the side.

yeah, if the powertube broke in the first place, i would have asked tippmann for a new one. they make seals and stuff in it for a reason.

The powertube is nothing but plastic with a screw in it. The valve is good.

no, what im saying is that there is threads and such in there, mabye you doing it yourself wasnt such a good idea. ask tippmann for a new one, and if it still doesnt work, send it in.

Yeah i Think that would be the best for all of us, even your gun..Cuz...Making your own powertube..:| I donno about that, that could screw up alot more in the end, Like lets say break your gun completely..
Also....put the old power tube in, czu tippmman wont fix it under warrenty if the tube is differant, aka homemade, cuz that would mean you broke it..

Ever hear of a Tap and die? (sp). If you used a screw, um... well, yeah. :)
I hope the gun for sale in your sig isn't the same one that you are asking about... I don't think anyone would buy it if they read your posts.
