I just can't understand these players who just can't play with any sort of dignity. They will outplay a newbie, over shoot him/her and claim that it was a superhuman play on thier part or it was a massive victory and a huge credit to their skills when they beat an opponent when their gun won't even shoot a single ball. What's up with this?

People suck... You find this kind of thing in any sport. Its actually not so bad in paintball compared to other things, just more painfull phisically to the newb it happens to in paintball... Imo

You kno lt dan you are so right I can honestly say that any wins that I have been on a level playing field. If an oppontents gun breaks or he runs out of air or paint I won't even finish the game if it is one on one because I hate winning like that.Just like in A Card game I play called Magic I would never quit on the game but I hate winning when my opponent has no Land cards

I mean you might as well go after the ref and claim victory. They usually don't have guns either.

You've been playing over 5 years and owned your cocker for 4 of them. Read the manual or watch the video. YOU CAN DO IT! I believe in you.

lt dan

Yes I can do it but I don't have control over when the timing goes out. noob:o

By the way have you read the manual that comes with a 98 cocker? It doesn't really mention much about timing the gun.

I had a problem with a kid toting an angel. In the staging area he was ripping up everyone and saying how great he was. Me and my buddy met him on the field, we were both out, and he tried to light us up! then he proceeded to yell at us that we should have had our hands up, which we did. He then lit up the guy that was walking off behind us after we told him not to shoot him because he was out as well. Its people like this that give paintball a bad name. this guy complained to him and he replied "If you cant play with the big boys get off the field." Its players like this that give paintball a bad name.

I had a similar experience, except this guy was supposed to be a pro. A newbie was lifting his mask and this guy was going to shoot him in the face. I shouted out the newbie to put his mask on and he ran for cover. Not to long after that I was taken out by "friendly fire."

I use a Phantom when I play newbies.

I spend more time on the field coaching and helping than actually playing sometimes.

I usually play with my semi when players start to talk **** though.

Overheard:

"Whoa, that sniper guy from before switched to a freaking machine gun!"

"You shouldn't have told him he sucked."

I heard the machinegun crack when my buddy bought his first autococker. Nearly fell over laughing.

I try to help out the newer players and try to drill in their heads that saftey is the most important part of paintball.

I too always try to help newer players with what they don't understand. I also try to point out to them that they shouldn't judge a players skill based only on their equipment.
