The autococker of course.

I mean, let's just compare the same parts on each gun.

Gen-x vs. pmi reg? The gen-x
Nitro vs. co2? Nitro
boomstick vs. teardrop? boomstick.

Right there, you have all the parts on the cocker being better then their equivalent on the spyder.

^ditto^
The stock cocker is like a fully upgraded and souped up e-spirit. Who would want to spend more on upgrades when you can just get a gun the same quality as the gun is fully upgraded?

Thanks guys, I'am still a little confused though. Please tell me why the cocker is better then the spyder.

Like Accuracy, consistency, speed, and any thing else I might be missing.

All of thee above.
also it is lightweight, it can upgraded pretty highly, it can go into tournys with no problem, maitnence is no problem, and its fun. Im not fond of cocker, but i have expirience on my side.
Its like comparing a house to a mansion.

Like they said a STOCK cocker is already like an upgradedd esprit, the cocker you listed is 3x better than the esprit. The cocker will cost you more maintenence, but its worth it. The esprit will have an advantage with speed becuase of the ESP frame, but that can be changed. But thats the ONLY advantage of the esprit over the cocker.

This is why I'am confused:

The spyder weighs less then the cocker, it shoots nearly as acurate if not exactly the same, the Spyders consistency is about +-7 where as the cocker has about +-4. The spyder set-up is half the cost of the cocker and the spyder is quicker.

Please give me solid reasons as to why it is better, compare things please. I own both of these set-ups so don't tell me which is better. P.S. I play indoor speedball at 260 FPS.

Why is a cocker a high end and the spyder is'nt?

I own both of them, I'am not buying them.

sorry, i was writing my post when you posted yours...but if you own both of them, cant you just make a judgement for yourself?

Ya I've made my judgement, the cocker is only slightly better but for the price it is not better. Ppl on this forum don't seem to understand, you guys are caught up in the hype.

Invision is the best

Angels are the best

But then you have little or no info to back your selves.

I can afford an Angel and an Invision but I choose not to waste the money and spend it on playing. I hate thses rich ppl so much. Superbugman for example, how does he afford all these spyders?

Cockers have back blocks, spyders don't. 'Nuff said.:)

Wow, so much hate! This has little to do with hype. Cockers are higher end guns because they are higher quality(for the most part) than Spyders. You never mentioned anything about price in your original posts so we assumed it was just a comparison thread. You have to mention every detail.

No one said anything about Angels or Invisions. All my friends break their Invision's lenses (the tabs) that's why I don't own one.

Angels are some of the best guns. No hype there.

Anyways back to the question. In my opinion the cocker is a better gun because it is higher quality, is more consistent, and has less kick. You still haven't mentioned prices, only that the spyder is half the price of the cocker.

If you own both guns, why do you need our opinions? Make a choice yourself.

Don't diss rich kids! Most "rich" kids with Angels and E-mags and what not bought that with their own money, that's right, they have jobs...

$405 vs.

$1000

CDN, and this is prices based on what I have spent buying new and used parts.

Well I don't know what that is in US dollars, but the cocker seems like a rip-off, tell your friend, cousin, or whatever to buy a BKO and nitro. End of story.
