Hey Andrew, hate to say it man, but i think you went a little overboard with the filtering, i just wrote cl***** in one of my posts and it bleeped it, for future reference that is cla.sses. using the period is the only way i can keep it from filtering.

I just saw your post and was going to make an identical thread. I too think it's been taken too serious. The average user age is about 15-16. I'm pretty sure everyone has heard foul language before. The F and S words, those are definitely censored words, but a-s-s, my mom doesn't give a rat's a--s--s if I say it. Same with g-a-y, I know alot of people use it as a bad name, but still, you once made a thread about homosexuality, so if we use the word in that reference, it should be ok.

yes im 17 and will be 18 in a little bit and i think every one is mature enough to deal with swearin but then if you think about it you see alot of little 12 -14 year olds on here now to so you gotta thnik about them to i know i have swore since i was like4 but thats how i was raised and some people werent but you could tone down what it bleeps a little like th eword that deals with homosexuality i uise that word as a regular word in my speech now just little words like that

and the word "g-a-y" is not even an offensive word. the homosexuals used that back in their parades way back in the day in a phrase meaning "good as you". so technically its bad in no way.

on top of that the word g-a-y can be used meaning "happy". so that should not be filtered.

also a sporting goods store is called d-i-c-k-s, but it got bleeped out when i tried to say "you can find that marker at ****s sports"

Yeh but most people dont use the word *** as the meaning "happy" they use the other meaning ;)
