ok, heres the deal, i got a game this weekend and it might rain, and i just got an ebolt put on my gun, but heres my question:
Will an e-bolt function properly in the rain and not short out?

it should work fine...just make sure your gun is tightly screwed together, so no water gets in or anything, but i'm sure you'll be fine...

unless your playing in a monsoon i doubt you'll have any problems... i never did with my old spyder...
rain hurts your barrel more... so wrap some celophane around the barrel so rain can't get in the porting...

I've heard of people having problems with raining getting in the marker. If it does, it will fry your chip. I think tho, if if it's tightly screwed together, water shouldn't get in. You might want to put something over the gun to cover it somehow. I don't know with what.
I'd suggest not. You can if you want to, but when water and electronic markers mix it's not always pretty. I've seen shockers get dunked underwater and still work for years, but I've also seen Impulses fail after a short faint drizzel.
If you can, avoid using it. Or use it, but just in case you better have a mechanical backup.
And along with that, get electrical tape and tape up ALL the portings on your barrel.
