Newbie Eliminating a whole Tourney Team

I am kind of a newbie.I've played 6 times.Just yesterday when we played in the woods i took out a whole 3 man tourney team, which consisted of 3 better than average tourney players(my brother andy, his friend shawn, and eric).It was 3 on 1 as my team was eliminated and i was the only one left. First, i took out my brother who was behind a 3 stubbed tree.I shot him right when he popped out low on the left side.Next, I got my brothers friend eric out. He was behing a rock and tree combination, and i snuck up behind him and shot him 4 to 5 times in the back from bout 60ft.Next to go was the team leader, shawn. he was in a bunker about a football fields distance away from eric.He was the hardest to eliminate.It was a tense fight that lasted bout 5 minutes and through bout 100 paintballs. He ran to a rock wall closeby the bunker and thats when I sidesteped and shot him 2 times.

Does anyone agree that im better than an average newbie?

I'd agree that it's better to stay humble as a newbie, then get overly cocky. ;)

id say the only we could tell if you were better than average is to SEE you play, telling us doesnt show how you played. maybe you just got lucky? and it worked out the way they were placed . . .

that happened to me. it was my 2nd time pbing in my life and i shot 2 people outta 5 but i woulda had five. there was this tower thingy i was in a guy was right under it i looked down i saw 6 balls break (yeah i know i was trigger happy) he ran behind another bunker for a few seconds then shot me later. the reffing at that field sucked that is why i don't play there anymore :) :pissed: :mad: :pissed:

Bleh, brings back bad memories. My team got worked by a rich kid, playing for his first time EVER with a customized Dye Cocker. It's nuts. Our three man team play triangle almost everytime. I wait untill the Bushie and the Cocker on my team flank to run up and shoot. This kid just starts firing in every direction, knocking out all three. It's pathetic, I know. But hey, we got him back when he was hunched over, hand inside his mask, cleaning off the fog. Take that newbie rich kid!!

Saying there a tournament team doesn't really say much you could be a tournament team and suck. My little bro and I usually are able to find a third and scrim against 3-man teams. We havn't lost yet. But we go against 5-man teams and it gets interisting.

All in all don't let it go to your head that's the worst thing you can do. Just remember what you did right and use it the next time. Congrats on your 3 eliminations(Please call them eliminations, people already think our sport is violent as it is)

okay, our 3 man team is really stong and stuff, so this newbie team wanted to play us they all had like spider n stuff and me jeff and dan decide to take em on, first game we owned them pretty bad, then we turned it around and we all got a lil cocky and all of us got to the 50 yard like off the break, okay i wont lie i was the first one shot out, i was in a lay down hyperball tube and i sat up to see where there ceter guy was and i got a shot in the side of my mask, then goes dan on the right, that sucked too, but the worst is when jeff in the center got bunkerd by 3 newbies....my self confidence went WAY down that day, but then it perked up when we beat locknload
