i was reading on the aTF web site the other day i found out something
ANY silencer, sound supressor, or compensator, on or off a gun is illegal.

this means evn if it is for paintball guns only it is illegal
as long as it is a sound damping thing it is illegal

i cant find the link in history but this is totally true

I believe it only counts as a silencer sound supressor etc for guns, otherwise your car muffler is illegal and you can expect the SWAT team to gun your asz down on the way to work

yes any silincer for guns

even if it is sitting in your car in a parking lot you are breaking the law it is illegal to possess one of make one that is to silence the sound of a gun of any kind

paintball gun
real firarms



i need to find the exact wording again but you cant have one in your possession

Yes but a paintball marker doesnt qualify as a gun or firearm under the law so therefore it is exempt

no i asked a firend of mine who happens to be a cop and he said it is right

so if you make one for a paintball gun it is illegal

the reason why is that it can be used on a real firearm

I'm not so sure, indeed it can be used on a real firearm, but then again so can a pop bottle

They are only illegal if they work on a firearm.

actually i also read up on it that they were illegal on pball guns...not sure where...somewhere on the internet...

in Canada I believe paintball markers are NOT considered firearms

it cut the noise in half or better and i got lucky it fits both of my barrels 10" and my 14".... the funny thing is i was just going to put a post up about it when i saw this one

well duh!!!

everyone is saying that
it is illegal to make a silncer for a paintball gun is all i am saying!!!

real firearms and paintguns silencers are made the same way

a paintball gun silcencer could silencer a real firearm that is why they are illegal!
