i havent been able to find a good free hosting site, picturetrail makes u upgrade after like 11 days if they see you link images, 50megs just sucks, geocities and all them dont work..:\

yea same here villagephotos is decent but you are limited to 25 pics. I think that would kick if andrew brought back normal pics.

It's such a pain in the neck it's not even funny, and they resize the pics for you. I wouldn't suppose we'll get a legit answer from an admin will we?

Possibly when VB3 is released and when we get a new host.

Right now images are stored in the database instead of as flat files. Pulling an image, which is a lot of text, out of a database table that is over a gig is very very hard on a server. VB3 will offer the option to store images as flat files. Thats why PBNation disabled image uploading completely until VB3 comes out.

If you really want to post large images that appear in posts without clicking a link, pay for some hosting space. Is $3-$5 a month really THAT bad? Thats the cost of a happy meal, isn't it?
