Are silencers worth it?

There is to my knowledge currently no commercial paintball silencers available for purchase, so your question is kind of moot.

And as for the POLL yes they make your gun quieter would i use it at a field comp no... In the woods with some friends of mine yes..


and as for worth it, i spent a total of $2.50 on the thing....
today i spent more on the mocha i drank for breakfast then it cost me to make it..

Its sort of funny to see people like INCUDE that have nothing better to do in there life but mess with people..

3.slows down balls by 10 feet

the best thing i discovered accidenttly was i trying to cover the glare on the barrel so i just wraped a camo hankerdheif around it and it mad it sound like i was shooting without any air in it. after a few games my friend asked who was throwing paint and it turned out it was my marker. :cool:

making a silencer is illegal to do. i read this somewhere, and it says putting one on there makes it a "firearm". i dont remember where i read it, or if it was even correct. but i did read it and im not lying.

That's why you call it a rain cover, barrel shroud, or other bs if asked by if asked by the authorit-ai

but unless your a wood or scenario game sniper there's not much use because it doesn't silence enough to keep you hidden (at least I haven seen {heard} one that did) the silencers on guns barely make a sound (BTW the sounds of silenced guns on TV and movies is fake it's not even that loud).

silencer's are pretty pointless because the reason most guns are loud is from their mechanics. The main thing that helps quite a gun is having a nicely ported barrel.

You should report that to the mods. If whoever did it, didit from the same comp they normally post from the ip# should be the same and they should be able to figure out who it was.

Oh Yeah by the way it is illegal to have one the field i went to after i got it chronoed once or twice the 3 time i took it they said i wasnet aloud to use it!
