my team is entering a three man beginner tourney in July. Anybody have any advice on paint, strategies, or anything that might help us out. This is our first tourney.

well ill try to help you out: just stay back, dont be to risky. commonly the first team to loose a player, looses the game.

i suggest you play back. just because of that sweet setup you got :P

btw, what guns and experience do the other people on your team have?

What!? NO.

In 3-man the most aggressive wins. Games only last about 3 minutes if done right, and you have to push up always. Staying back will lose you the game.

the 2 others on my team have both played about a couple months longer than I have. One has a WGP 2k3 Cocker and the other has a Nasty Impulse. All three of us have played for about 2 years.

Thanks for the comment on my setup.:)

have u ever play a 3 man tourney, whatever team looses a man first looses, not always but most of the time, its better to practically play everyone back off the break

ahhh I'm confused now. Are you sure? are you supposed to play conservative or aggresive?

play aggressive...but not too aggressive we got killed by being too aggressive, in the first game of the finals we decided to be aggressive and get one of our guys to the 40....bad idea he got shot off the break we ended up loosing that game it cam down to me vs. 3 of them i shot one guys hopper but then i got shot

I would say be aggressive. I have played in a few rookie three man events and our team has done very well. Although we have always lost (once got 2nd, once third) it is always due to some crazy junk. When we got second we were head of all the other rookie teams in points, but somehow based on the fact that we lost to some rookie team, we came in second. It didn't matter that we maxed the am team that won the event.

Anyways, I would suggest keeping one man back. Watch the other teams when they play, a lot of rookie teams always will break to the same spot. Have the one man that stays back just shoot down a lane where the guy is gunna run.

Also, look at who you are playing and see what you want to do. If you know the other team is really good, skilled shooters, fast, etc...maybe play a bit more conservative. If they are not so great then be aggressive. One game the other team didn't look so great so off the break I sprinted straight up the center and grabbed the flag. Within 45 seconds we had eliminated the entire other team and hung the flag. Piece of cake.
