Bascially, gun oil is gun oil is gun oil ... You can go to a hardware store or Walmart and get light machine oil ... same thing.

I use gold cup oil. I'm not sure weather it is the best or not, but it works well.

You can also use valve oil like for trumpet valves. It's chemically the same as paintball oil.

I use it because the music store is closer than Big 5. :D

i use crisco or cooking oil, sometimes i use some used case oil, like muckraker said, oil is oil

Use 2-cycle motor oil... wait, no... perhaps canola oil... maybe massage oil? nah... Every day wipe the oil from your face, and save it in a jar with your earwax. When you get enough, you'll have a good compound. Just kidding... :D

Just go with the gun oil, like all the other smart guys said.

I've been trying out dow 33 on my spyder and it seems to work pretty well. It is a grease though.

I don't see how ANY type of oil could not atract dust and such, infact its a pyshical properity that oils and grease attract dust and dirt, Christ, and if grease works anybetter, i might just use some damn axle grease, or better yet, 90wt.

Well, the dow 33 is used on shockers and imps. I'm not sure if other kinds would work well or not.

Hmmmm..... could you use that KY lubricant? I mean, it's a lubricant, which is sorta like oil right? WOW!!! If you could that's another use for the stuff.
