Hi,
Was wondering about the proper setup for a rear velocity adjust on the A-5.
Where should the main adjustment be at. Then proceed to use rear adjustment?
My prime concern is the best gas efficiency. Does using the rear adjument improve gas efficiency? Thanks in advance for any help.

these are what were on the back of my instructions of my airtipps RVA
(im typing it off so ill do my best to make it word for word)

(BTW it works great, i recommend the maddman spring kit from county paintball)[works for a5 98c and pc]

"an RVA is a pre valve adjustment. where the fva (the screw on a5) is a post valve. it doesn't matter where the FVA is positioned, your marker will use the same amount of gas for each shot. by opening up the power tube(when you screw your screw flush with the body)you are getting maximum flow of gas to your paint. By using the RVA you can increase your gas efficiency by only using your drive spring(the one that goes in the rear bolt)to launch your paint at a particular velocity and also re-cock the gun properly. We have done extensive research on making TIPPMANN markers more efficient. This is one of your best upgrades for your gas efficiency. ...(ther is another paragraph about using a reg)"

so i hope this awesam company will make a RVA for the a5. i think they make the best. the results will be slightly different but the goal is the same.

wow that was my most writing that will actually mean something... haha i think im getting better at this forum stuff:laugh: . well i hope that all helps

i kinda recommend waiting until airtipps makes one for the a5 because they have great work on their products and the velocity adjustment screw is nylon patched so it doesn't move around when you play.

or if you need it quick, look at reviews and you decide
