Freak Barrel System [Archive]

Is the freak barrel system really all that? I have a lime green imp, is there any wat to match the barrel system to that?

According to CockerKid it's not :P

Anyways, I think it's a great barrel system, but if you have the stock Progressive, and are tight on cash, it's not that necesarry, won't do a WHOLE lot. As for lime green, only thing you can do is get it annoed to match.

I love the way mine shoots with just a 693, id imagine if you had the system, that barrel would shoot like no other.

yes one insert doesn't make it that much of a barrel but 2 or more inserts will make it a very reliable paint 2 barrel match 2 piece barrel

Your right, it would shoot like no other, cause all the other kits would shoot better.

I'm not going to get into a whole long discussion on the Freak again, you should do a search if you want some info, not in here, but in the barrels and paint forum. All I got to say is the Freak isn't worth the money.

Just get a single damn barrel and live with it, you won't see any performance difference.

what about the edge j and j kit it is only 500 and has 4 back pices insted of incerts?

Yeah you got that right. The edge is like 125 and from what I've heard it a very good deal.
