has there been any news about Booyah changing they're customer service number/moving/going outta business?

i don't want to start and rumors, but my friend sent his marker to them to fix the rt valve/booyah trigger problems. it was supposed to take about 1 to1 and a half months to get fixed. it's been over 4 months now. after 2 months he called and got ahold of them to see how it was coming. now there is no answer at the number, just a messaging service saying leave your number and they'll get back to you. he's done that several times but still no reply. i've searched around and i've read that they were out of business/shut down by the health department:( anyone able to shed some light on the subject for us? also does anyone have a different number he can call? i'm not sure of the one he calls now, but if you could post the numbers for booyah that you know of, i'll pass them along. or does anyone have a booyah email address he can send an email too? thanks in advance for the help.

if this should have went in the equipment section of the forums, my bad:) i thought it could go here too, maybe get more ppl to read it

From what I've heard, they stopped answering phones, the website no longer exists, and nobody is getting their money or equipment back. The guy sorta disapeared with everyones stuff and money in the middle of the night

I've heard that an owner's goup (or something like that) has taken it over.

ummm, your friend might want to look into a new marker soon. from what i've heard the guy sold all the markers being fixed on ebay and ran with the company. i doubt anyone will ever get their marker back.

moral of the story, dont buy from over-night companies with little or no repuatation.

i will, for a nominal fee of course.

i think a 2002 cocker threaded vapor bushmaster will be able to pay for my services nicely, dont worry about the shipping, i'll cover that ;)

So where do you go if you need to get your booyah fixed??? Just asking because they are selling for like 170 now and i was thinkin about buying one, should i pay the cash for the hyperframe instead???

Pay the money and get a hyperframe as there is no company to fix your Bouya under warranty, and even if you found someone to fix it, you'd have to pay. And as for Killers friend, I seriously wish I was joking but I'm not. I cant imagine how much it must suck to lose a marker after the time and money put into one. Sorry about your friends loss

Boo Yah owners fear not your trigger frames can be serviced through:

Mako Paintball Products
4041 Dupage ave
Lombard Illinois 60148
tel # 630 705 9293 speak to Dave or Kim

Apparently these guys came up with the electronics and actually manufactured the frames, the original Boo-Yah owner just handled the marketing aspect and screwed over these guys too. Upon speaking to Dave though, he has a limited guarantee on the boo-yah trigger frame and will honor all servicing, he will soon have a website up and he seems to be a real sincere guy.
