ok.
i have an old gap back pack/sling

the one with one strap. across you shoulder

i got a towel , fold it in half. put the folded side toward me and pu 98 near bottom.fold over it.

so , then there is a little bit of loose towwel on the top and bottom. then i fold it over. making sure i protect my on/off know and palmer.

then i put it in the bag. near the middle. because the gun is longer. i have to put tank near the back. (farthest from the zipper) i wrap that in an old shirt i use to clean my gun. then i wrap my barrel in a towel inbetween the tank and fun (like the pyramid style)

then there is a empry space that fits my hopper. i put that in and then zip.

for the pockets out side.

i put rubber band. oil, instruction booklet, barrel plaugo-rings squeegee, extra springs.

the the little one i have allen wrenches.

if you dont get waht i said please just get a back pack and some old towels you dont need.

wrap everything up nicley.. be creative. it would be nice and comfy/safe for your tippy

dude what? he asked whats the best pack for a 98c not the best way to pack it.

Anyways, i would suggest the Redz carrying bag. You can get one specifically for a Tippmann 98c.

Yeah those Redz marker sleeves are nice. I just use a big plastic toolbox that has plenty of compartments and space for all my stuff.

I & I sports makes this gun bag that is very good for a 98 (no stock). It fits very well and it's only $10.
I don't have a picture now, I will post it when I find one.

Well, what I was thinking was using a standard hard rifle case. I was going to pull the eggcarton padding out of the case, cut some off the top, like a square off each side so there is a little bit of padding left, and use that area to store my gogs. Get a small tool kit, size it up, cut out some more foam, store that there. Lastly, I was going to use a dremal to cut out a few small slits on the back of the case, and cut slits through the foam in the same place. Run some velcro through the padding and case, and you have a area to hold barrels. Customize as you see neccessary.

It might be a bit more expensive, but imagine carrying a rifle case onto the field and opening it up. I thought it would look good with a 98c, a hard stock and a flatline............

Any other ideas for it?
Dee
