If you decide to get a new reg get the messiah =). And get Nitro ASAP too, because unless that C02 is anti-siphon then that gun will be hurting =(.

thx guys

im comin up from a tippman98 so this is a BIG step. Ya...I hope to get nitro, however my field doesnt have it...so i gotta get my own scooba tank.

im working 8 hours a day the next 2 weeks b4 school starts so ill be able to upgrade it.

you think that gun was a good choice for 350 shipped the whole package with 2 masks, co2, everything?

That is a kick *** deal. I am about to get a cocker (saving up for a trip to Italy and Greece on spring break now) but my M98 is holding up just fine. The one I've been looking at is a 2001 Vert Feed for around $450... and then I need to get nitro or run it off my C02. However, I've been looking at mags too, and am in a constant debate with myself which one I should get. There is a sweet Mag deal w/ Nitro and everything for $500 at pbgear.com or I could save up for the cocker and do upgrades and the like. Oh man, the choices =(.

cockers dont require N2, sure it helps, but if it is gonna be a problem to use n2 then you might just want to stick with co2.

my friend has run his cocker on regular non-anti-siphoned co2 for like 3 years no problem.

It would help a little if you have an anti syphon tank to run an a cocker but you'll be fine. I hope to get either a Spanky body from pbgear or Get a the new fishbone bodys and upgrade to the MAX :D

Does he spray and pray or just play pretty conservatively? I only shoot alot if I am in speed ball and have to. Otherwise I just do maybe 3-6 round bursts at people. I just dont want to hurt a beautiful gun like the cocker with C02, even though they run fine on it.

Anti siphon is very helpful or you can run remote. There are still a few old expantion chambers which go on the tank, if you can put one of these or a inline filter on the remote you will have 0 problems. If you can afford hp then go for it, but if not these are good options.

I played front, and rather aggressively, for about 2 months while running remote. And I have a teammate of mine that did it as well for a while. He ran a minimag, I did it with my Spyder TL+ Remote doesn't really limit your options, as a matter of fact I loved it, it's just flaky...my slide check o-rings went all the time. If not for that, I would still run it.

thead.. im hoping to god you were just making fun of him, and not joining his cult...

cockers, on the other hand, do run very good off c02 when set right, and c02 lasts more than a 47 nitro tank, so i'd stick wid c02 till u can afford a GOOD nitro tank, spend more on the gun itslef.

making fun... i'd be very surprised and frightened if he could get a following large enough to be considered a cult.

well, im looking for a store to get an antisiphon tube put in on my 20 oz CO2,

It has a BENCHMARK frame on it, anyone got any opinions on that?

pr0kch0p
08-20-2001, 08:51 PM
my friend has a benchmark frame on his 98 cocker, only problem with it is it has this screw on the bottom of right where your middle finger would rest and it rubs against your finger and is extremely uncomfortable.

MOOSEontheLoose
