Ive always put a light coat of dow on my Delrin bolt but last time i went to play, one of the refs told me that i shouldnt beacuse the dow corrodes the plastic. is this true? what should i do?

I have heard people say it also may swell the bolt up so it wont shoot.

If you put too much it may get sticky and cause some drop off.

hmm just wondering. What if i put a small amount of lube on it to make it swell so it fits a little tigher? I have a blowback problem at higher ROF.

yup, very common to get scratches on delrin. its normal wear & tear & will not effect the performance. u know bob long (timmys) use Tri-Flow lube on their delrin bolts. its teflon coated. i've used it with no problems whatsoever.

yes it is normal for derlin bolts to scratch, its just the bolt rubbing in the reciever/body of the imp, don't worry about it, unless and idiot puts a rock/marble in the breech and you fire, then a chunk of the bolt may come off and that would be a problem
