also it has a cable that goes to the hoppers lid and one for a inteli feed.

it wont shoot unless the hopper lid is closed, tells how many balls are in hopper, and it has some cool modes of fire

i gotta iced out eagle, chill bumps the the grip. you cant touch the stingray with 40" boomstick. haha. we used paper towel rolls to make the barrel longer and then PVC over the towel rolls. and its got a new paintjob too.

This is my first gun too. But now I like it much more. The barrel is a cut Tippmann stock barrel that was collecting dust, so I thought wth? I slapped it on there along with the scope for looks and, Wa La- a pimped talon. The scope works too, I can gog my friends every time from 75' or closer. This gun is waaay more fun to use than my tricked tippmann at times. I like to let one of my friends use my tippmann (The rest have sypers) while I use the talon,(Not all the time of course, just for kicks:)) it's insanely fun! Hang on to your talons everyone.

I just got this gun for my birthday. I put a shoulder end on my 9oz. tank and put together a sling for it too. I don't know if the sling will work but I'm going to try it out this Sat.(3/9/02). I'll let you guys if it works. Has anyone tried putting a sling on their gun?

I'm surprised there's no raptors! Here's my sling on my raptor SE. The sling will work if it's tied on, but I got annoyed and put it on with a simple bolt and wingnut. It's easy, and extremely useful.

I used model paint on my hopper and made a 3-tone urban camouflage scheme. My webcam is kind of crappy when it comes to colours, but it looks cool in person.

How to do it: unscrew your vl200 hopper into its two halves, and begin painting on one side.

You will need enamel model paint such as Testors, and the following colours:

Arctic white
Gray
Battle gray

The idea is to make the most of the area Gray, then add the arctic white in river-like patterns. Try to paint directly onto the plastic, do not paint the whole thing gray or the white will come out smudgy. Then, once you have the two-colour scheme use battle gray to thickly surround the white patterns on the hopper. You will paint over top of the regular gray and it will become a darker colour.

*Remember to do one side of the hopper first, then hold them together and follow the pattern onto the other side.

this is a stingray2 with a Talon grip attached onto it. ifor those who are familiar to the Tippmann A-5, im gonna make a cocking knob similiar to how the a-5's is :)

My brothers Talon with a few mods done by me. :D

It has a stock, extended barrel, silencer, lightened trigger, Scope and a foregrip. they were all home made and most were duct taped on. The gun works, btu since the barrel is only taped on it doesnt have ANY accuracy, so i guess the scope is kinda useless. :crazy: :laugh:

Here is my current setup.
Specs:

Custom Stainlees Steel Connecting Pin
VL200 Hopper

It is a bit rough around the eedgees but performs well and is reliable since I made a stainless connectign pin. About the trigger job all that I did was cut a small peice of stainless rod and mount it as a backstop behind the trigger. You can see it in the picture near the safety. I also filed and sanded down the trigger so it is now very smooth and wide, no more dreaded steps on the trigger. I have also added a thumb rear velocity adjuster from a Pirahna much better and cheaper than the 32 degrees rear velocity adjuster.
I am planning on milling off the top half of the gun and doing some other things to make it work. Total investment so far including tank & goggles less than $60.

My milled ray 2. This is an bad pic, I'll have a better close up one in a few days. Sight is Bushnell 3x-7x Custom .22, internals are polished, barrel is ported and polished, EVERY sharp edge on the thing has been ground off, all the little bumps that are normally on the receiver have been ground off, rear sight has been ground off, sear pin has been replaced with a stronger one, all plastic is sanded and polished for that clear look, and trigger guard is heat-shaped. All mods done by me.

the timmy frame was dremeled so that a 9 volt battery could fit where the lcd use to be and also so the thunderboard could fit inside the grip. I dremled out the rear scew hole so that the screw fit inside the body.

the only stock/unmodded parts left are the bolt link, feed neck, bolt cover and lower recevier.
