it was a hott day around low 90's high 80's and well i left my cocker out in the sun waiting for the match to start and warming up my co2 tank. It was all pluged into the gun and stuff and then all of a suden i hear this boom and i look and my macroline just busted. Is it b/c i was useing co2. This happened to me and another person the same day.

I thought this was wierd.

C02 is fine with macroline. its the leaving the macroline in the sun that is the problem.

Ok, it's good for a little while but you constantly have to be changing the line/trimming it- this is what happened with my experiences with it anyway. and IMO, that isn't worth it. SS hose you can depend on and will last a loooooooooong time.

Leaving co2 tank in the sun = Boom. :|

C02 tanks wont' go "boom" in the sun. maybe if you leave it there for say a few hours or more but who does that? anyway i use macroline with C02 and i have no problems. it did burst though once when i left it in the sun(had more so I didn't care). macroline is easier to use and i prefer that over SS line anyday.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me and a friend of mine a couple weekends ago when we where playing, out of no where a biug holse just blew in my macroline, I nearly pissed me pants cause I had my face pretty close to the gun. Then when we where walking onto the field a little while later, my friends blew too. First time I'd seen this happen. I may get SS hose now, just to be on the safe side.

same thing happened to me about a month ago... my dad had gone to i dunno where to fill my 12 oz up and i was rubbing it on my face cuz i was in a stupid mood and it was still cold after over an hour... then BAM! the disk blew and it was really loud and i screamed and ran out of the room it was funny. turns out the dude overfilled it and they fixed it for free... yay!!!

If you go to the automags.org forums, Tunaman has some of the high-pressure macroline (namely, the GOOD macroline) for sale at a reasonable price. He'll also sell you a Tunamag, if you so desire.

I've never had macroline problems, but it's one of those things where "the shorter, the better" definately applies.
