*** This RIS Hand Guard is awesome for the Flatline! It is not just a round tube as can be seen from the down the barrel pic. But I will say, it is a real B* to install, as my older Flatline had a longer barrel in it than the new ones, and would not fit. I had to get a new FL barrel, and even that barely fit. Will see how it works this Thursday when I go to play. In the Trading section, if anyone wants a used FL, I have an add for it.

Here's my Pro/Carbine, constructive criticism and suggestions requested.

I purchased this Pro/Carbine used in 2002 and have been modifying it since then. I just put in the APP trigger and home made trigger guard last night. Sloppy craftsmanship, but it works. The trigger action does not seem as crisp as the stock trigger, but I have yet to field test it.

Thanks to Matt's Pro/Carbine Page (http://procarbine.cjb.net/) for all the information. Also, thank you to FirstOut and at the pro/carbine owners' group forum for advice and tips.

Current setup:

- After-market rear bolt with silencing modification
- Madman medium (blue) drive spring
- SL68-II trigger spring
- AirTipps rear velocity adjuster
- Low-profile velocity screw modification
- Polished, silenced internals
- Combat feed modification
- Vented elbow modification
- Lapco Bigshot 8.5" barrel
- APP double trigger with homemade trigger guard
- DYE Sticky Grips
- Tippmann vertical adapter
- Palmer Stabilizer (male)
- 1200 PSI gauge (on the vertical adapter behind the Stabilizer)
- Smart Parts drop-forward
- After-market ASA
- 9 oz PMI CO2 bottle with neoprene cover and butt plate

Alternate setups:

- Stock fore-grip with vented elbow (in case I want the original look back)

I'm still not sure what barrel provides the best accuracy. So far, I trust the Lapco Bigshot 12" the most. I would sell the barrels, but I'm not going to get much for them, so I might as well hold on to them.

Yup, I got me a M98 now. Friend gave it to me for $10 he owed me. Still need to get these two stripped screws out, and it's in desperate need of cleaning, but I can't beacuse two of the screws are stripped.

I have big plans for it in the future, gonna make it into a bad-*** speedball Tippmann, and E-bolt it if possible.

I have been working on two E-bolted 98c's for the past few weeks, Ive been doing allot of shaving and filling. I still have to install a battery harness for the 9v, extend and encase the wires for the 9v and switch and lastly relocate the switch.

I still have some sanding and painting left to fill in any holes I missed. Yes I dont have all the bolts or safety in yet.

This is my day game 98c E-bolt for D-Day. I was going to put grass reeds on this one but I'm tired of painting, and taking it apart. I'm not happy with the ASA setup- I like to keep a ASA on the marker just in case I need to screw a bottle on (My remote blew last year 40 seconds before game on at D-Day). Anyways I'm sure I'll mess around with it a bit more.

Here's my baby
has an olde bushmaster regulator, Apex barrel (Nice!) I run it with co2 on a remote mostly, very consistent, +-2, and I did the spring kit for the trigger and the sear both, making it a wicked light pull, but still consistently cocks and everything else.

You guy shave some really nice Tippys.
I have a TPN Sports Bravo One (Alpha Black) Tactical, E-Grip and Cyclone etc.
Shoots just as well as many more expensive markers, which is great.
Does not like going full auto on 15 bps though.... unless I use one of my Air tanks rather than Co2.

Was a great upgrade from my '03 Spyder Xtra, and cheap to. Was going to just get a 98 custom, but for an extra 20 bucks it seemed worth it.
Not sure why I cant get it to embed, maybe my post count.

I actualy got a really good deal on this tippmann. I bought it, a spyder xtra, and a bunch of extra gear all for just $100. with the A5 came a 10 in barrel, a flatline barrel, a collapsable buttstock, remote, and an E-Grip. I don't think iI got a bad deal at all. Any way, since I bought it I have put another $150 into it. i have a barrel mounted pictanny tri rail mount, a tactical laser w/pressure switch, a Tasco red dot sight, a bi-pod, and last but not least, a 22in RAP 4 fluter sniper barrel. Well worth the money I've put into this thing. I am kinda new to the sport, I've played before but not like a real tournament or anything. Just a bunch of guys getting together and playin. I am wanting to get a little more into it though, so any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, you saw my previous mods on my 98...here's the latest. Flatline barrel, double trigger, Tippmann Expansion Chamber, polished and quieted internals, and custom 3 color camo paintjob (using Rustoleum camo paint, and clear top coat.) The gun will be ghillied with burlap as well...but I didn't want to take a pic of that.
