If you get the Shutter put a new regulator on it because the "regulator" that comes on it is fake and so is the expansion chamber. Also, you should get a new grip frame since the stock one is uncomfortable. Get a new bolt too.

I love mine and you will too. A few pionters from some one who owns and loves his gun.
1) The Spyder Shutter has a Reg followed by a "Mini" expansion chamber. These two items get all sorts of comments about how bad ,or useless they are and so on and so forth. The Regulator works fine, maybe not the best money can buy but if you follow the instructions that come with the gun and adjust it down to about 600lbs like I have it does help even out gas pressure spikes for a little more consistant shots. The Expansion chamber is really nothing more than a decorative part of the fore grip but no big deal.
2)The stock barrel is now worse than most guns and better than some. When you have money to spare, you buy a new one.
3) The stock grip frame works fine. If you have money to burn and cant stand them, upgrade to better grips.
4)The stock bolt with the holes in it are just for looks. I dont know why kingman put them in there but they are no big deal. All you do is get some camo cloth and make a cover for the gun which keeps dirt out and conceals the bright red color when you dont want to be seen.

Bottom line on this gun. It is a great gun to start out with. If you are fusy about every little part and want to upgrade everything chances are you have money to burn and should have bought a high end autocoker or Angel or something to begin with. This gun is for the rest of us that CANT AFFORD the autocockers, or Angels or the rest of those high end toys. And for us that have enough sense to know the gun is only half the game, skill and expierince make up the rest.

Bravo, Runnfox ... If someone things every little thing about a particular marker Sucks, then they should go out and spend BIG $$$ on something they like ... and when they do, there will undoubtedly be someone around to tell them how much it Sucks!
