electro pneumatic guns are in mechanical guns are out. Impulse: Faster rof, more reliable, true electro, light trigger/microswitch, capeable of vision or was board.
Cocker:e-bladed it is very nice, but it has some issues like timing and setting all the regs, tedious velicoty adjustments, and a front block that can sometimes be damaged which will cause the cokcer to not function. Go with the RAT impulse.

I would say the rat and save up for the vision. Unless u have a VL 200, then get the vision.

If you plan on upgrading the outkast a considerable amount and eventually getting an Eblade. I say get the Outkast. If your not going to make it electro, get an Impulse, solely cause its faster.

RAT Impulse, not impulse rat...

But yeah a rat can be made very accurate, my freak has a .693 insert and is super accurate. Id recommend a rat for to many reasons to name... i just love mine..

With a cocker, u just cannot shoot fast enough. beetween a rat and an outkast. probly the same efficency, same accuracy, but the imp is so much faster. So unless your getting an eblade , get the imp

Unless you are going to eblade a cocker, the impulse is probably a better choice, though I saw at least 4 different teams chopping like blenders at the Colors tourney yesterday. They didn't have eyes on their guns and were shooting at very high speeds. Those with eyes didn't have any problems.

Ya guns without vision like my RAT can chop easily even with an Egg2, dont know about HALO B's though. BUt that is only when i walk the trigger, the egg2 is fine when shooting at game speeds.

Impulse or a cocker?

Apple or an Orange?

two 100% different guns,

i have owned both and there are two in my room right now. I love the feel of both and i think that they are both awesome guns. The impulse, will shoot much faster, with not as good effeciency, the cocker will shoot slower but will get more shots per fill. i know people that have gotten a Case and a Bag out of a 88/45 tank. cockers have endless upgrades, and you dont have to worry about complications once you get familir with the gun. The impulse is just more of the type of gun people use today. They are made to lay down the paint and todays game calls for that. today's game requires money and a lot of paint, so if you can lay a case and get one kill, your wicked good.

If you play front, you'll love the fact that you dont have to worry about short stroking when going to bunker and you also can snap shoot a little more paint out there. I know this from persnol experince.
