Get the extra... It costs less is just as easy to up grade, and it is v-feed.

It all comes down to whether you want power feed or vertical feed. I had the same choice to make and I am glad I chose the Xtra. Vertical feed should be on all guns. And if you have a chopping problem due to blowback on the Xtra, just get a revy.

I'm new and have only played a few times, what exactly does power feed do?

i no it aint a choice but if u get one for 80 bucks and put a used wgp reg on it a drop and a new barrel ur gun will be better than both of those

neither, get a pirhana vtl vert feed and put a used wgp reg or a gladiator on it. it adds up to about the price of an extra, but is so much better.

Bah, low rises... I'd rather take an Xtra over the TL+. With the elbow, the feed tube's a high rise. And you can fit the hopper on nice and tight, with elbow screws on the side. The TL+ is still a good choice though, having the ability to stop the flow of balls. Personally, I'd rather take a Java Compact 2k though, much cheaper and you can do very good things with the money. :) I'd also take the Java Compact 2K over the G3 VTL for the reason that the VTL uses a low rise, and yes, I'm very picky... ;)

Stay away from spyder clones! You severely limit your upgrade path of the marker! Someone mentioned that you have a compact... If you do, and it is working fine. You may wont to simply upgrade it. Get a Palmer stablizer. It is the best reg. for anyone using co2! There is nothing better! Also get a good barrel. These two upgrades alone will enhance your markers performance!

Yes, but are grip frames and bolts so important? Not really... Sure, the more you can upgrade, the more "personal" your gun is, however, performance wise, they'll all shoot just as well as each other... Palmer Stabalizers are good regulators, yes, but the best? Naw. I'd have to go with the Smart Parts Max-Flo. The Sidewinder is also another regulator to consider if using CO2.
