I know this gets posted all of the time. But I searched and I couldnt find anyone in my situation.

Right now here's my set-up:
98 Custom
Flatline
Response Trigger
PsychoBallistics Drop Forward
Ricochet AK

I love my flatline, but I like playing speedball more then I do scenerio. And I just need a shorter barrel. The flatline sucks to get in between bunkers quickly.

So I'm wondering what barrel I should get. I've heard Lapco Bigshot, Teardrop, Small Parts.. And so on.

I'm looking for a 10" but I could possibly do 12" I'm not a loudness/quiet barrel freak. I really dont care.

I dont want a boomstick. Too expensive. Can you guys help me out.

All the above, definately a $48 7.5" Lapco BigShot. You will love the way it shoots.

ya. that short barrel is great for around corners. and stuff.

but again. i dont like dye personally and id reccomned the AA 12inch or the snakebite 8 inch.

AA for 60 : affordablepaintballsupply.com

check reviews for the BOA snackbite.

i dont know where they sell those.

and i think its better you put this in barrels forum

You can not compare the stock barrel with the bigshot.
But anyway it is your call.

8-10 inch bigshot (loud, but who cares?)

or a teardrop/progressive... very good barrel... i have found both of them for 40$, so its well priced, too

And of course the all am, but it shoots just about as well as the teardrop/progressive, so unless if your dieing to have a 2 peice, then get the progressive or bigshot

its your choice, and shouldnt this of been in the barrel forum :eyes:

I could but since its for my Tippmann 98 Custom, I thought I'd come here to the experts. Plus I did right after I read Willpills post that suggested it and its got 0 replys and 4 views. ;)

I'm not dying for a 2 piece. I'm thinking Teardrop. They look cool too. Have any of you heard any complaints about them? And for 40 bucks you cant beat the price.

Also what about an ARMSON Stealth?

DAMN YOU ALL! YOU ALL SPOKE OF THE THINGS THAT CANNOT BE SPOKEN OFF! YOU ALL SHALL CHOP YOUR BALLS AND BREAK YOUR PAINT AND BLOW YOUR O RINGS! A CURSE APON ALL OF YOU FOR SPEAKING OF THE UNSPOKEN THINGS IN THE MARKER FORUMS. And you Laue, who started this thread, who dared to try to use common sense around the great ones, you shall be cursed most of all! How dare you!

agree with willpill i do......

if your gonna go for teardrop, and your struggling for cash, then get a progressive... same bore size, and same porting, just doesnt have the indentions for the ports.......

i dont know much about the armson stealth... do a search in the barrel/paint forum
