Ya, the barrel should be first choice, and its a good barrel at that. Next is really your choice. Just start with little things, buy like one thing a month that you like, and before you know it you'll have a pretty awesome gun. I would get maybe rear cocking, or a drop forward. Max velocity allowed legally is 300 Feet Per Second and under. around 270-285 is pretty normal. You can either buy a chronograph (measures velocity), or go to your local field and have your gun chronoed. I am not a Tippmann technitian, but if I remember right, the little screw on the side of the gun is where you use the allen wrench to adjust it. The tool used probably came with your gun.

you have to turn it a little, then chrono, turn, chrono... that's how you know. there is no specific point you can stop turning and have the same velocity every time.

Once you have a good barrel you can get double tigger if you want or a drop and use good paint. usally anything RPS/PMI is good.

i would just say get what you need to get by and play and not waste a ton of money upgrading it and wait to get a better gun after u play more and more and spned ur money on upgrading that instead. but thats just my opinion, its up to u :|

the next crucial add-on would be a hot chick in a bikini that carries your marker around for you as you walk around the field's parking lot.
