Genx blows monkey balls, can't run LP, and inconsistent.

zenmaster

hey zen how do you know what pressure you are dialed in at. I thought that you can't put a gauge on that reg.

wow.. yet another upgrades thread, 56?

the rocks good, cocking rod is ok but why bother off the get-go, only if yours now starts f'n up on you, a 3-way hose kit, are you kitting me? thats as a replacement.. not an upgrade.. a new front block, sure, if you are gonna get all new pnues, you should just get a front block kit from palmers or ANS, WGP hinge triggers work nice, but are butt ugly, i'd look for other brands, a crossfire tank? for the same price you could get a nice one, or a little more you could get a 68 flatline, a great system.. , a pod pack aint an upgrade, but idont like the ronin packs, redz are best, and a glad reg.

Yes, the gen-x is that bad, and yes, I have played with a few.

I've seen a high percentage of lemon gladiator regs, I'd rather spend $7 more and get an aka Sidewinder.

Try www.g3pb.com for better prices and more selection.

Yes, rocks have a very good rep as being a reliable LPR. Cheaper at g3 though.

Kapp twisted autococker cocking rod $15.99

It looks cool, but a cocking rod is a cocking rod, they all do the same thing in the end. Cheaper at G3.

Autococker Three way hose kit $8.95

Don't you have pneus hoses on your gun? Why do you need these? Once again, cheaper at G3.

P&P 2000 autococker front block $54.95

If you have a front block, why get a new one? It will do the same thing as your old one pretty much.

Wgp autococker hinge trigger frame $89.99

I love hinge triggers :)

88ci crossfire nitro tank $169.99

I would have rather bought a 68ci to be more compact, but I get free air fills.

Ronin Turtle pack 5 pod $39.95

I'd go with an extreme rage, they are VERY comfortable and well made.

and which inline reg, im debating, some say glad, but some say it spikes, some say ans genx2 and some say aa black ice??

Go with the sidewinder. High flow, consistent, reliable.

Just get a CP barrel, the aci barrels are not of the highest quality, and are very expensive for what you get. Plus you can get CPs in different bore sizes :)

u realize krasher thats all opinion, i know most of the stuff is to make my cocker look better,

zenmaster

well, many of the sdewinders are prone to that god awful pinging noise, which doesn't affect it's performance any, but from talking to Aaron Alexander, THEY don't even know what causes it, since it doesn't happen to ALL of them (and they function properly, to boot)... it's a fine reg, had it on the angel, and it worked well, but I'd still take my glad over it, if only for looks and silent operation.

SK-I have a ghetto-rigged output pressure gauge setup, my glad feeds 300 psi into the gun, give or take, I think the gauge might have been funny... really, though, it shouldn't matter what your exact pressure is, as long as your velocity is legal and consistant =^)

i wouldnt get the aci barrel. they arent worth all the money, and plus they are large bore. but maybe thats why you want one. and the crossfire tanks are great, but i love the stub tank bc its so small. but everything else looks good

****ty barrel... get the new PMI Razzor or the PMI 2-piece Razzor... those are CHEAP and GOOD!

im getting the 2-piece Razzor if they come in different colors or if not ill just get a 1-piece razzor in red.

and dont change ur reg... the stock sto reg is good but get a new bolt... i dont have any suggestions on any certain one but I hate the stock one.

I say go with the gladiator reg. And also for the barrel go with a Custom products one piece barrel, they're cheap and you can get them in whatever bore size you want.

i mean, i agree ,for the price the CP is a great barrel. you never told us your budget range, so just accept it as good advice.

Hmm I wonder what these forums are for?? They're Here for people to ask questions and get everybodys help etc etc.. As unknown said You never told us your price range for a barrel, so I gave you my honest opinion. Next time I wouldnt post a thread If you're they're to flame someone about them giving they're opinion. Next time think about it.
