A) the AKA Sidewinder
OR
B)the Palmer Stabilizer
and if anyone one nos a place that has them in nickel in the 80s please tell

sidewinder defineatly, either that or the gladiator. both great regs.

www.g3pb.com has sidewinders in nickel for around $85 i think, and gladiators cost $75 pretty much everywhere.

The palmer and the AKA are wonderful regs, you cant go wrong with either.

Personally, I'd take the AKA just because it has a swivel mount on the bottom.

Palmers are the best regs out their for co2, Im not sure about nitro, but I would definately trust palmer

stabs work great on nitro but i would go with a sidewinder or a verticle max flow

I hate how much Palmer regs are ragged on just because they work great on co2. If they work well on a non-stable gas, why wouldnt they work even better on a stabil gas? Palmers on nitro is one of the best setups as far as inline regs go. It makes NO sense that just because it tolerates co2 people think its inferior on N2. The max flow is one of the best regs available. It works great on both gases, yet, isnt considered bad on nitro. Know why? Because they come in a nitro tank version. Get it through your heads people.[/rant mode]

If you are running nitro, you should get the gladiator or sidewinder.. palmers are great on nitro but better on co2..and the gladiators are oppoiste of that

A Stabalizer will not run better on CO2 than N2. It just runs on CO2 better than a number of other regulators...

k, so make sure he is running low pressure before it is suggested. I would recomend the Sidewinder myself.
