 Can I get arrested for plaing paintball in the woods near the biking trail? I mean will the cops do anything if they will find out about me and my friends playing in the woods near the biking trail?

Where do you live?

Is the land posted?

Do other people regularily use the space?

that all depends.......... If you play on some field out in the middle of nowhere, I bet all the cops would want to do is watch because it's more fun than driving around in a car all, but if it's a very popular part of the woods or a popular bikinb trail then you still might not get in trouble but you shouldn't risk hitting a bystander or somone who's passing by........ It wouldn't be good for the reputation of paintball and you'll feel like a jerk if it hits them in the eye and blinds them............. But if there are no people around then go for it.

Well, Live in New York, Long Island.

Its not like a State Park or something, and i didnt see any sign that says NO PAINBALL like i saw in some parks. Well, i cant say there is a lot of people, but there is enough. But the place i go to is a dead jungle, and its pretty far form the trail, about half a mile. :eyes:

:) !!! Then I think I should be fine, sometimes i see people plaing there, they seems to be stupid, because they are playing right on the trail, some people get scared and they turn around :)

BTW, playing paintball in the woods with your friends in less expansive then going to the Fields and pay $100 for 2000 paintballs, if you can get some cheap paintball for $40 (2000 pb).

But it depends on how many friends you have, if you have like 4 friends who is playing with you i think its better to go to the Fields. More people = more fun. :)

Well. When i play, i go far away from people, so nobody is there and nobody can see me. Only people in masks and markers in their hands:)

they can't do anything in CO. me and my freinds were playing on a green belt behind my house and somebody called the cops. An officer asked us what we were doing and we told him we were playing paintball. we didn't hit any houses and we were all wearing protection, so he just told us not to hit any houses and we could play

If they catch you, they can arrest you, fine you, confiscate your paintball gear. You can only play in a designated paintball field, anywhere else is illegal and you risk hurting someone thus making it completely illegal in our state. I've heard of people playing "outlaw" games where I live in Queens, but they play in an abandoned resovoir where to get in you have to climb, so it's a bit safer. I would stay clear of those bike paths, or at least post up signs that your playing in the area, the last thing you want to do is hurt someone.
