Brass barrels......

Need to know about Brass barrels....
does anyone out there swear by them? I read all this cool stuff about them on a T------n mod page, and he seemed to think there was nothing wrong with them......so I am wondering....:cool: :cool: :cool:

ummmmm, i think the only place you can get brass barrels now is from palmer pursuit shop. most companies are using stainless steel and aluminum now. dont really know about brass barrels, seem like they would be really heavy.

boa makes a brass barrel now and i think they are the best barrel company out there and also this needs to be moved to the barrel and paint

There is nothing wrong with a brass barrel. When you try a brass barrel, you will notice a different soun, as well as the accuracy is VERY VERY good. The only real flay with brass barrels is that they Tarnish easy, so clean the insice with a clothe squeegee fo about 2 minutes before and after every day of play, and that they dont go with many guns. That is the only reason why they arent as popular. Infact, Many barrels are coated with brass on the inside, so it is actually more popular then you would think!;)

All make brass barrels. Maybe more, these are all I know of.

I would go for a Palmer brass barrel. Its expensive, but it shoots all paint like DARTS.

Brass is wonderful stuff:)
