No Response to E-mails

Why doesn't Andrew or whoever is in charge of E-mails ever respond??

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend who can no longer access your web page because he was banned a while back. He recently tried to E-mail Andrew from the "You IP has been banned page" that you receive when trying to log onto the forums if your banned.

There is a option to E-mail from there. The E-mail was perfectly fine, no bad or unneeded language was used, it was just politly asking to be re-instated or to consider it. He didn't even get a response E-mail....

This is the second time its happend to him.

So I was curious if any of this sites mods can respond to this and give a reason why no response was sent, and if their is a re-instatement policy here. I know on some forums they have alternatives to complete banning for ever, such as pcr Post Count Reduction etc, making users start from 0 posts all over again. Or just a banning for a week, or a month or so.

ANY response is welcome, so far the administration at this site have been very silent through E-mails and true responses.

Don't try to make Andrew out to be the bad guy here if he happens to ignore emails he gets from banned members. He's a busy guy. Do you know how many of those emails he must get?

yeah really give andrew some slack he has 2 sites to manage he doesnt always have time for every single email

I thought sending the first E-mail and giving andrew over 5 months to respond was giving him sufficent slack. :|

I'm not trying to make Andrew out to be a bad guy or anything, I'm sorry if what I say impliments him to be bad, but to be honest I'm just telling the truth, and the truth does what the truth does.

Just simply looking for a answer. :)

My friend in quesiton went by the SN "Poogas" .
He's a lot better behaved on forums now ;)

Hate to tell you this, but half of those where "PoogasReturns" you have no actual evidence to suggest that was indeed "Poogas".

Especially since while Poogas was a member of these forums there were several attempts to impersonate "Incube". So you'll understand where I'm coming from when I say that was not Poogas.

Why would he be trying so hard to get back in to these forums if he was just going to do something stupid and get banned again??

Also, if that "PoogasReturns" fello was him, why would he be asking to get re-instated with "Poogas"'s original dominant IP??? Why wouldn't he simply use the "PoogasReturns" IP?? Check the IP's if you like, you'll notice those are two completely different people.

Sorry for the double post, but while looking over the threads Magnus posted, I noticed something I haven't befor. While takling to Poogas, he told me, that was not even him, well, I no case or evidence to prove that it was not him, but now I noticed some Circumstantial evidence. Please take a look.

I would "Quote these, but since the thread is closed, I'll just copy and paste.

Codestar (Agent) - "Is this the same PooGas we used to know? If it is then I have lost all respect for you..."

Mud - "This just isn't like him. Maybe some retard got ahold of his account. i do it to my friend sometimes."

These two quotes, help set the picture that, it was not "Poogas" at the keyboard, he says possibly one of his friends or so. (He still dosn't know for sure)

One last thing I'm going to squeese in,

Magnus - "two or three hundred minus one. I've PM'd you with a warning but you just don't quit. Say good bye to everyone here at Pbreview, because you have just been banned.

Buh-Bye"

now, if you check Poogas never read this PM, due to the fact he was never aware of a warning to stop etc.... Just thought I would bring that fact to light due to this quote. "I've PM'd you with a warning but you just don't quit" If Poogas had ever read this PM, he would of most likely stoped. I'm not sure if its possible, but if a mod could re-activate his account, and check it, they would see, the PM is undread.... Most likely because whoever had his account at the time, really wasn't concerned with PMs.... plus even if it was actually the real "Poogas" he never got any warning.

It also occured to me, that you have yet to mention his current sites which I posted of. If you search for "Poogas" on those forums, you will notice his behavior is just fine, adding yet more evidence to my case about that not being poogas posting when the banning took place.

Secondary, on the same subject of his behavior on other forums, he was a strategy writer over at "WebQuad" gaming site breifly. But never got published. You can confirm that with the sites administrator aswell if you wish.

It's not my job to research people I've already banned. Fact of the matter is, Poogas was banned from PBreview, not any of those other forums. And so what if that second account wasn't him? He was still banned the first time wasn't he?

You're really approaching this situation the wrong way expecting that we owe your friend a second chance. He had a chance to function like any of the other normal rule abiding members, but didn't. Thus, he was banned. Now had you approached any of the Admin or Mods quietly and on the side with an apology, instead of making a thread accusing Andrew for not answering e-mails, then maybe this conversation would have gone a bit differently.

You're a good writer Elegy, you're very convincing, more importantly you're a good friend. But, we have no reinstatement policy here. Once you're banned, you're supposed to stay banned. Now I know a thousand people are going to jump on this and tattle on their friends "well so and so came back under this name and you mods didn't ban him..." And then I have to go around banning more people and making more people unhappy. instead why don't we just close this thread. Feel free to PM me with any further questions or concerns. :)
