What velocity does Tippmann preset the guns to at the factory? Specifically the A-5.

I don't really think they're "preset" to anything. They need to be chronoed to ensure safe velocity.

usually presets are talked about nitro or like a reg gets preset and a certain level.

The velocity won't come stock at anything. It's totally random. Plus it wouldn't matter because with a simple barrel change your velocity will need to be raised/lowered to stay at or around 280.
