first time paintballing tomorrow

yo,
i have had many fun hours having bb fihgts with my mates
then just recently i decided it would be fun to go paintballing (yes i know its alot diffrent to BB fights)
well i have everything booked for tommorow and i am just trying to get as much info as possible
like how much more does it hurt compared to bbs that can go about 800 meters
and any tricks/tactics to stop my self getting shot in the first place as i am a complete newbie (sept for BB's)

Hey just a while ago i myself was a newbie and i can't say i have had BB fights before but paintball i have soooooooooooooooo if u wanna keep from gettin shot then keep moving around the field don't stay behind one barrier cause that's when they move in on ya and you can't back out to get away cause they'll shoot ya so you have to keep movin that is one of the main keys to paintball.Now as far as how bad the paintballs hurt it's not to bad i wear like a long sleve shirt and pants and a hooded sweat shirt over my shirt and it didn't seem to hurt me to bad.oh yeah!!! and one of the most important rules to paintball is don't take your mask off on the field while everyone is playing cause my friend tried that and he got shot in the face and it wasn't a pretty sight and it's people who do stuff like that who give paintball a bad name so i hope this info helps you out and good luck

Do take risks
Do know who your shooting at (Teammates don't like being shot in the back)
Don know your limits
Do have fun!!

another thing i have been told is to wear fingerless gloves is this a good idea or not?

search the net for paintball saftey rules.....hang with someone at field with more experience than you and have fun....chek>.>>>

hmmmm.........u know another newbie "dont"?!?!? well...its not really newbie....but one time i was so excited this one game....and...i tried to test fire before the game started into the forest(which we are alowed and suggested to do to make sure our guns are working) and...i forgot to turn off my safety. i thought my gun was jammed....and i got scared cuz the game was about to start. this was like a speedball field....so i like yelled...and tried to shove my trigger in....and then my friend next to me was like "uhh......u idiot ur safety is on" and then like all 40 people on the field started to stare at me....and my face turned red....i got so embarrased...once the game started i was like standin there in embarrassment....and didnt realize the game started....a couple of AUTOS fired at da whistle....and i was out.

yeah me too make sure you run with one hand holding you genitalia so it looks like you gotta pee it may look funny but think about getting shot there instead...besides how many hands does it take to pull the trigger....
