Where can I get some custom work done for my Impy?
Like a custom valve cap, some cool milling to the trigger guard etc....

valve caps you can order from toxic performance (not associated with toxic toys ;)) or smart parts europe. rumor has it that smart parts USA will start selling the valve caps and other voodoo accessories after the world cup

the toxic performance site is being redone, and isnt navigatable as of now. so i would wait until after the world cup or try and email toxic performance, because ordering from europe might be more of a hassle than its worth.

Wow, toxic performance actually made a stride in web design, it actually looks half good :rolleyes: but most of it doesn't work and its chaulk full of spelling mistakes, I wish I could see the accessories for the imp tho :D

i dunno, that upgrade still is confusing. i'm gonna look at my imp and figure it out. if the co2 filte goes to the soli then there wouldn't be so much air taken from the valve chamber.

some people thought there might be something on the back of the gun, or near the regulator.

Ya, I've seen that post before but I was hoping someone on this board would know something more... IMO I think the mod is just a higher flow rate for the solenoid, if you look at the solenoid air intake inside the valve chamber, its this tiny little square hole but the tube on the pic looks a lot larger, and maybe someone squeezed the worlds smallest LPR in that gas-thru GG somehow.

i'm not sure if that's even a pic of the lpr mod. that hose just increases air flow.

I met and played with Tarantula from www.Tarantulamfg.com this past weekend he's done some work for me (awesome delrin bolts for my spyder shutter) He's got some state of the art equipment in his shop and milling is one of his forte's, Hey check it out, you've got nothing to lose but some weight, and alotta stares to gain when ppl are checkin out the cool milled marker!:cool:

That site is pretty good, but I got a question. How much would I be able to sell my CO2 Max-flo for? I want to eventually get an on-gun 4500psi max-flo one of these days so I'm just wondering. Also, do they have a gallery of their work at Tarantuala MFG? I'd like to see some more of their work.

You'll have to try and contact Tarantula if you want to see more. Why would you be sellin you Max-Flo? It'll work for nitro too!

On the iceolation mod... (new air mod)

Here is the way the gun normaly works. NORMALY you have a common air source for the valve and solonoid. when the valve dumps, it actuly creats a negetive air flow for an instance. that is it creates a momnetary vacum. The is just exactly the moment the solonoid needs the air most to recocke the gun. so the solonoid gulps more air then it should have to.

What his mod does, is plug the transfer passage, then create a seperate air supply for just the solonoid. Fokes that have done this claim it doese every including make you grow a 12 inch ****. Well don't belive everything you hear, but there does seem to be an improvment in the recocking action--esp when using lowere imput pressures.

another palce that does milling on Impulses is Hyper Sports. They did a couple of shockers for me, and they came out great. The only draw back on getting milling and anodizing done on an exisiting gun is the cost. It is not uncommon to see the bill for milling and ano to come to $500 and more
